What PlayAcorn is
PlayAcorn is a free, browser-based collection of educational and arcade games made for children ages 3 to 12. You do not need an account to use it. Nothing is for sale.
Using the site
You are welcome to use PlayAcorn for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy the games, reverse-engineer them, or use the site in any way that is harmful, illegal, or disruptive. We ask that you treat the site the way you would want others to treat something you made with care.
No accounts or user content
PlayAcorn has no user accounts and no way to submit or share content. Game progress is stored only in your browser and is never sent to us.
Intellectual property
The games, artwork, code, and text on PlayAcorn are our work. You may not reproduce or distribute them without written permission. If you want to use something, just ask.
No warranty
PlayAcorn is provided as-is. We work hard to keep it running well, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every game will work perfectly in every browser or device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PlayAcorn and its creators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site. The site is free; we are not able to take on financial risk in exchange for that.
Links and third parties
We do not link to third-party sites and we do not embed third-party scripts. If a future version of the site includes links, we will note them clearly. We are not responsible for any external content.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change we will update the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
